Eddie Jones will make his first visit to Twickenham since being sacked by England when Japan complete this year’s autumn line-up.

The Rugby Football Union has announced that the 2019 World Cup hosts will visit London on the penultimate weekend of November in the fourth and final fixture of the campaign.

New Zealand, Australia and South Africa had already been confirmed as opponents across the first three weekends of the Autumn Nations Series.

Jones was appointed Japan head coach soon after resigning as Australia boss last October in the wake of the Wallabies’ worst-ever World Cup performance. The two-time world champions were knocked out after finishing third in Group C behind Wales and Fiji.

The 63-year-old Australian will lock horns with England for the first time in Tokyo in July before facing his former employers at Twickenham four months later.

Jones was dismissed by the RFU in December 2022 following a dismal sequence of results with Steve Borthwick installed in his place.
